Traits that work only when activated

Tue Jan 15, 2008 6:27 pm

I don't remember if it is already the case, but I wondered if it was possible to have traits that work only when the leader is activated ?

If we could differentiate between traits that need activation to be used and permanent traits, we might even create traits for leaders when not activated...

It opens up perspectives...

I very much like the idea of this toggle. It can be used in all games, so I will gladly add him in our list of things seriously considered within some months... I have to check the amount of work involved though...

Exactly, for 3* generals that would help model better generals that tend to be fool hardy but active (à la Hood) rather than a rigid active/inactive stance that is very rigid.

With this new flexibility we could better represent generals such as Johnston and McClellan, that could still have a low strat level but nevertheless useful traits even when inactive, etc..
