Greetings from the South

Tue Jul 10, 2007 8:59 pm

Not from the CSA, just from Argentina. Excellent game, and support. After a three days gaming addiction I only have to say: great work!!!

Welcome.
We saw at television your problem with snow in Argentina; we heard also temperature near -18°C. A perfect weather to stay at home in front of your PC with ACW...

If things don't go so well up here in the South during this here war, at least we have a place to retreat to and regroup. Welcome ole Argentina!!! Did I say retreat? I meant advance to the rear.

A steamer ticket to Rio and a third-class train ticket to Americana is cheaper, and more historical...

And I thought I was the only one in Argentina that bought the game...Digital download is the greatest thing ever...

And the game run on Vista! That´s a little miracle itself given how unforgiving is Vista with all the other software on earth...but it runs out of memory after a few turns and have to reload, even with 2GB of RAM...nothing is perfect

There is snow in Argentina in winter in the south of the country and the whole year in the Andes, that´s not the news, but in Buenos Aires it´s something extremely rare, it didn´t happen since 1928 or 1929 and it was a rare event then also.
