Who wants to be Pdt Davis?

Fri Jul 06, 2007 6:20 pm

NewAgeNapoleon, the Pdt Davis player in the Grand Campaign, is unfortunately sick and is now officially considered as MIA.

If you want to replace him and join the Grand Campaign project please apply here.

To know more about the GC projet : http://www.ageod-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=109

Frequency is only 1 turn/week (even less during summer vacations), so time requirement is pretty low, but the pleasure is really high!

Best regards,

Korrigan

It would be nice to have a CSA presidential replacement that isn't too familiar with the northern strategies as detailed in the war room and the various AARs... ;)

Hehe, thats a good point...kinda limits the replacement pool a bit..

Maybe advertise over on the Matrix fourm? More new players, less 6PGC AAR readers over there to choose from, I'll bet.

Possible recruit here.

Fri Jul 20, 2007 2:56 am

I just bought the game a couple of days ago and intend to play with it this weekend. Before the last 5 minutes I had never heard of this AAR, so if my duties don't have to start immediately I believe I might like to join. Please realize I haven't even read the manual yet.

I do have PBEM and AAR experience in War in the Pacific, so I am not totally clueless.

Curriculum Vitae

Fri Jul 20, 2007 3:25 am

Although to date I have zero knowledge of the game mechanics, I do retain significant understanding of the strategic thinking in the War of Northern Aggression, and as I understand what I have read so far, this position does not require movement of troops, but coordination of the Armies, and resources of the CSA. If this is true, then I feel I could assume the position quickly. If I am chosen for this weighty responsibility, I would place high value on advice and suggestions from my Brothers in Arms.

Let us hope that the Man and the Hour have met.
Your servant,
AU Tiger

Appreciate the offer, but they/we have already found a replacement, though I have to admit I'm not entirely sure exactly who it is, though, since I don't/won't/can't read the CSA-threads in the Grand Campaign forum.

(Apologies that this hasn't been made clear in this thread earlier)

Interesting...

There is no mention in the CSA threads. Anyway, it is a relief really considering I don't know the game yet. I felt my offer was a bit hasty in hindsight.

Good luck with the game though.

Thank you for the offer, Andrew Kurtz is the new CSA president.

However, I'll keep your name in the waiting list. :cwboy:
