Mon Apr 23, 2007 9:46 pm

First off have to say I love this game. After numerous starts on the April 61 campaign to learn the game I feel ready to start my first serious campaign, but am holding off waiting for the faces for the Generals. Are they on the short list for updates or will they be coming later.

I think I recall it being said that they are coming a bit later. Something about the artist having other commitments that delayed the remaining work. AGEOD decided to not hold up release of the game to wait on the portraits. Not sure when they are due out, but I am not under the impression their release is imminent.

The game works pretty well even with those missing portraits.... ;)

My understanding is the missing faces will be added in a future patch, though Pocus or PhilThib would be the best folks to answer this.

They had other priorities for the release date... but you can be sure that they will be adding more portraits later. :niark:

You should start your game anyway. When the faces are added to the leader files, they will appear in game, even if they started off with no faces. This is because the leader files are not stored as game data in the save. If you alter the model files, you can change a leader mid-game.

Yes they will for sure. In fact the production of those faces was delayed for various technical reasons independent from our will and we hope to have some in the coming weeks :coeurs:

Great. I'd hate to see you lose face over this...
