CSA Supply Help

Tue Apr 24, 2012 12:14 am

I'm fairly experienced with this game but almost entirely from playing the Union. Decided for the heck of it to play as CSA and started the 1863 full campaign. It's late July and my boys in Virginia and Mississippi are starving! I've checked to make sure I've got depots properly spaced, have control of rail lines, and have built up the rail capacity just above full (river is still average). I've also bent over backwards not to use rail for troop transport to keep the rail lines shipping supply. I recognize starting in 1863 put me behind the eight ball (not really being able to use 1861 or 1862 to build more infrastructure) but sheesh I'm one big supply have nots for a country. Tried some light indutrialization but that seemd to use a lot of WS and money for little gain. I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Any suggestions to get my boys supplied?

If you think 63 is bad, then try 64! Spread some light indy around NC, SC, Georgia, and Alabama. You've just got to get some general supply increases to stay above water.
