Wed Jan 28, 2009 5:13 pm

Could someone please put it into a format that automaticaly places the fix in the proper directory like Gray did. If not, could you post some how to pics or a step by step.

Thanks

Download and extract the hotfix file (double-click on the ZIP folder and select "Extract All" at the top of the window)

Go into Start > Computer > Local Disk (C) > Program Files > Ageod's American Civil War

Drag (or cut and paste) the extracted file into this window

Delete the original AACW desktop shortcut

Right-click on the new (careful, not the original file) ACCW.exe file and select "send to > Desktop (create shortcut)".

Close the window and start the game via the new desktop shortcut

Hi
These lasts steps are really not needed as the new aacw.exe will override the old one as both are called the same so the original desktop shortcut will point now to the new exe.
