Randomized generals

I have a basic question about how the game's engine works:

I find that the first couple of turns in AACW are kind of routine, so I save a file at that point with my initial moves. What I want to know is whether generals are "re-randomized" each time I go back to that file. In other words, are generals' stats assigned each time a new game is started and stored until the general appears, or are generals created de novo when they appear in the game? (Obviously, I have full randomization selected in the game options)

Here's another thought. This is probably too much to ask for having in another patch, even if there is one, but I wonder whether you guys might give some thought in a future update of this game to having generals be fully randomized, including their special abilities, and having their abilities be hidden until they've been around a while. That's a feature in Forge of Freedom, and I find it's quite a good one for creating different historical possibilities.

randomization is made only when the general appears in-game, not in advance.

About the random&hide abilities thing, this has been discussed and this lead to some problems. In AACW you get many historical events and this complicate things (as many generals appears by event)

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured. But it does seem worthy of thinking about for future AACW2, if guys ever produce one.
