Hi guys,

The firing at Fort Sumter began at roughly 11:00 AM GMT+1, April 12th...

While we were happily sleeping, one member of the community has found a way to by pass our website to directly access to the on-line shop.

Problem is: The on-line shop was not 100% ready to take some orders as Philippe Thibaut explained.

So to make it simple:

1) Please wait until you're able to access to the on line shop through the official link (http://www.a-acw.com).

2) Be carefull with the antispam policy of your mail provider (hotmail is known to cause some problems)

Meanwhile, you can have a look on the tutorial: http://ageoddl.telechargement.fr/tutorial_v030.pdf

Stay tuned

Best regards,

Korrigan

However it's our duty to warn our customers our the risks as we want to offer the best service available. :cwboy:

The game will be "officially" released in few hours anyway, so no big deal but I would not like any of you to have some pbms meanwhile. :p leure:

and we are in Europe :niark: ...so the price will always be charged in Euros, and your bank / credit card co will handle the foreign exchange.

Roughly 1 euro = 1.33 US$

Also another 'nice' stuff: the price on our website says 39.99 euros, which is the price that includes the 19.6% French VAT (tax). This tax applies to all European Union customers, but fellow American customers are exempt. Therefore your price is 33.44 instead (39.99 - 19.6% of same), which is roughly 45.00 US$ :indien:

45 Dollars!!!!

What a steal! Beautiful game - how can you possibly out do that Gem Called BoA? But, you did.

And its a big damned war in comparison - wow!

The big mystery for me, is why does a French Company with French Designers do such a fantastic job with American Wars, while American companies trying to do the same wars at similar scales botch it? You guys, and especially PhilThib, are geniuses.

-------------

Now, I did encounter a little old run issue that stopped the game loading cold, but its me, not you. However, some might run across it, especially if they play videos and use their PC like a TV, as I do.

I kept getting this error involving a media file called 'mmswitch.ax'.

I resolved it by installing a new version of the KL Codec Mega Pack downloaded via http://www.majorgeeks.com

--------------

I went through the tutorial - the improvements to the GUI are really, really nice. The first thing that caught my eye was the current vs maximal force level bars for individual units - an improvement over BoA.

I also see you've removed the word Maximal and replaced it with Maximum...I have learned to love Maximal (I know, I know, I'm wishy washy).

Thanks - looking forward to the first in-game click! :sourcil:

While waiting for the last 100 or so mb, and somewhat OT, have you completely moved to computer games? Or have you also continued with boardgame design?

Edit: very close now.... installing... :siffle:

Well, it took 3 hours and 48 minutes to download (slowing down gradually as it came), but at last I have it!

Curse you all. This is my long work day and I get to sit here and read the comments on getting the game and playing it. Reading all of this is killing me. I even tried to get my wife to go ahead and download it so it will be there when I get home, but she hasn't yet. Well I will be right there with you tonight. :fleb:

All right I take back my harsh words, born of jealousy, for I am now downloading the game and will be playing it very soon.
