How is naval supply capacity determined? (not the river transport)

1 point for each point of transport capacity in the shipping box. A brig has 1, a transport has 10. So a standard transport squadron (2 ships) has 20.

 Thanks! For whatever reason I thought the ships had to be in port and my supply wasn't going up. That solves it!
