Future Patch: Music?

Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:49 am

Hey Pocus!

Is there a small chance that you guys will ask the 2nd South Carolina String Band again to add some more songs? For guys who really love civil war music would that be great gift :siffle: :)
I don't know how expensive it is.. maybe they will make it priceless?

My compliments
Hinkel

I know Raf...but in order to build such mod, i'd have to pir8 mp3 files (i found several but they are of unsuitable quality). Even if i wanted to buy a CD on the themes, and even if i could find it in the huge Virgin Megastore on Market St. in SF, I'd still not be authorized to "publicize" it by converting and fitting it into a mod. It's copyrighted material.

The only solution is if AgeOD signs an agreement with the bands.

Who said anything about pirating music? :bonk:

My point is that anyone who has a collection of relevant music that they would like to see in the game can simply add it themselves. That way, you get to have *exactly* the music you want to in the game :)

I don't want to listen jazz, punk or reggae when I play AACW and it's hard to find a 2nd-SCSB disc on this bank of Atlantic, so... ;)

I hope too that WIA will have a better soundtrack than BOA ! :p ouet:

That would be a private mod, not a mod for the community :)

Hi
In case someone is interested...
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=dm_ap_cd?ie=UTF8&sort=-original%5Fdigital%5Frelease%5Fdate&search-alias=music-artist&field-keywords=2nd%20South%20Carolina%20String%20Band
Internet is an "amazing" thing :sourcil:
Its a shame amazon still don't sell his "no DRM" mp3 downloads to Europe :p leure:
But with the current euro/dolar exchange prices are very cheap even with the delivery cost so buying them on CD is a good option :coeurs:
Regards!

Unless the players fund the new songs, this is not possible :) The meager resources of the studio are all consumed to pay my sal... oops to develop VGN in the best conditions ;)
