Biggest Battle you have had

Thu Nov 08, 2007 2:49 pm

I just had one defending Alexandria with Confedarates, 12,683 casualties under Joseph E. Johnston to the Union's 36,451 under Mcdowel (ouch)

Wow, wierd battle. It seems half of the enemy army was supply, 1/4 was artillery, and only a few infantry battalions. Perhaps that had something to do with the Union's dismal performance?

Nice casualty ratio regardless

Your fonts are weird, you are not using a 96 DPI settings it seems?

Also you are not in the last version I believe, the elements are not ordered by descending number.

1/4 was supply and 1/8 was artillery, but yeah, might explain a bit of it?

My fonts are 96 dpi(just like it like that), also, I snapped this pic and posted this topic before i continued the turn resolution and the battle went on to the next day. They pushed me back but suffered another 10,000 casualties to my 2,000 or so. that definately outranks Gettysburg. Time to fortify Fredricksburg !!!

I just clued in....thats why the Victory points and Morale look like they dont fit on the box right (96 dpi font) was wondering that before. I just though maybe the dev's were crosseyed or something, and it turns out its my mistake !!! LOL :bonk:

yes.....I think I only have the 1.7e right now. must fix that
