Movement Question?

Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:08 pm

In a recent campaign game I moved an Union amphibious force (independent corps) and landed them in the Duras, LA bayou area, which is one zone away from New Orleans. After spending a turn to get my corps organized, I attempted to march the corps one zone to Iberville, LA, where I would attack New Orleans. Instead of the direct short march, the computer plotted a "94-day grand swamp tour" all the way around the bayou to reach New Orleans. This was frustrating and inexplicable. I tried entering the movement several times with the same result.

What is problem here? The two map zones were clearly connected by a land link and there were no forts or troops in the way.

Thanks for any replies.

Isn't it amazing, such a complex game, so nice, you find a bug and immediately afterwards the Lead Dev comes in to acknowledge. What better way to show commitment and to add value to the player's "investment" ?

I'm still in the learning phase and i can't really see any bug yet but am seriously hit by this attitude, congrats Pocus that's the way to go! :indien:
