1.06b Bug/Human Error?

I installed the patch(latest) this morning and when i went to play my exe. was gone from my desktop and the control panel registry just shows the patch. The exe. in my folder won't work, it appears a large part of my game vanished. Very strange...i will see if i can redownload .

Hell Patrol,

I had a similar issue (I have Vista OS).

The game would not start, though it showed up as a Processes in the Windows Task Manager, multiple times as I started it more than once.

I re-booted & the game started, no problems.

There are known bugs with both V1.06a & 1.06b see thread:

Stay with V1.06 until the guys return from vacation.

Just re-install v1.06 and you should be fine.

Yes, Thanks. I deleted the remaining/broken files and will re-install when they get back with a working patch if not sooner.
