Attack Posture and cohesion for fleets

Mon Jun 18, 2007 10:14 pm

Should the posture for fleets affect cohesion recovery? I am pretty sure I remember seeing that fleets at sea or in the blockade boxes are not influenced by the posture setting. But what about river fleets?

Reason for asking: in a couple of cases, I have seen river fleets where an attack/assault posture provides better cohesion recovery than a defensive/passive posture. Is there any situation which should lead to this?

Screenshot attached showing aggressive posture being more beneficial than defensive.

the sentence add a + before cohesion, so you are misled (and I will correct this tooltip), but you see in offensive: +-0.50 cohesion... You are losing 0.5 a day in offensive.
