Help! New Army HQ - Where!?

Sun Apr 22, 2007 11:13 pm

I'm in late 1861 full campaign - My first.

I got a message the a new Army HQ in now in the force pool. Where? I looked to see if I could build one. There is nothing in the Reinforcement Force Pools for Army HQs. There are Divional HQs. There are Army HQ replacements.

Please help, I need this Army HQ big time!

I think the message means that you are now able to purchase Army HQs in the Reinforcements panel. That's how it worked in my current game. Are you looking in the Replacements or Reinforcements panel?

Yes, that's were I expected it to be. Its not there. Or anywhere I can find.

Patience...

I think the Army HQ's show up around Dec 1861 or so...

I could deal with that. But I'm worried about the fact that I got the message saying it was now been added to the force pool when it hasn't.

It may be a typo in the event message. The Army HQ may have shown up in the field at a predetermined location. Check your new arrivals filter and see if you can find it.

Please provide the exact text of the message. I have a couple of ideas, but they will not be helpful if I don't know what I'm talking about.

Also, have you created any army HQ replacements at any point?

The message was:

New Army HQ has been added to the Force Pool.

And yes I had created 1 Army HQ replacement a few turns before.

Please specifiy scenario, date and side. For what I can tell, you might have been playing Union, and it's December...in Dec 1861, we add 3 Union Army HQs in the force pool. You have to build them, they don't come for free...

if you have 3 on map (for whatever reasons, scripted events for example) and the force pool start at zero, then you get a message 2 are added in the pool, then you are still in debt of one before even seeing a buildable unit in the interface. Perhaps the message can be reworked though...

1861 Full 2 Theater Campaign as Union.

Current Date is Late August.

And if I'm not supposed to get additional Army HQ's until December, then no harm done. But it sounds like getting the mesage was a minor bug.
