Militia

During the war militia were more and more replaced with regular army units, how is this reflected in this game? Can militia units upgrade into regular units after a certain amount of time? or can you decide to disband them and return the manpower and equipment to the conscript and supplies pool so that you can build other units?.

from my limited experience, militia are recruited separately from regular troops in the reinforcements screen. whether or not they can be upgraded into regular forces, i don't know...but i don't believe so.

After a while, militias will be upgraded to conscript...and conscript to line, then regulars... this is handled via scripted events...
