Ship posture to block movement on rivers

Hi,
Does the posture of ships have an influence on the blockade of movement on rivers ?

I guess passive posture doesn't block anything while defensive and offensive postures works the same in this regard. Just my guess, I can be wrong :)

A know that in a certain release (1.12 maybe), you add to be in offensive to block. Don't know how it is know in 1.15.
