Confed capital in 1861

Sat Dec 12, 2009 4:32 pm

I've started the April 1861 campaign and the capital is in Montgomery.

My question is, does anyone know if my capital at some point automatically moves to Richmond, or do I have to order it via the Politics screen, and therefore take the NM and VP hit. If it moves by event, does anyone know when?

I assume that if I have to order the move, I could actually leave it in Montgomery, which might not be the worst idea?

Many thanks

No, don't pay for it. On the historical date (aroudn may 1861 IIRC it will automatically change to Richmond.
If you want to change later (maybe because of USA armies pressure) you will have to pay for it.
Cheers!
