Pbem

Would PBEM be a feature? I mean a real PBEM system instead of the exchange of files we have now in BOA, in which both players could see the turn unfold. A replay option with controls video-like would also be useful, in BOA you miss lots of important enemy movements because that.

I really hope you will include some enhancements of the PBEM system.

Hosting a PBEM without making mistakes is a real pain in the a... with BOA.

Yap. Good PBEM system would be nice.

*hush, hush* if it will slow down release date, forget it. Release it in a patch *end hush, hush*
Forrest said something about killing a Yankee for each of his horses that they shot. In the last days of the war, Forrest had killed 30 of the enemy and had 30 horses shot from under him. In a brief but savage conflict, a Yankee soldier "saw glory for himself" with an opportunity to kill the famous Confederate General... Forrest killed the fellow. Making 31 Yankees personally killed, and 30 horses lost...

He remarked, "I ended the war a horse ahead."

we have externalized the development of a TCP/IP exchange module for BOA and AACW. Hopefully it will be done for the release (there is a strong chance, the dev has already done most of the utility).

You'll also have PbWeb which we intend to be easier and more comfortable than PBEM for slow paced games.

Regarding to the "turn unfolding" feature, you just need to keep pressure on Pocus, and ask him again, and again... :niark:
oups sorry Pocus... :siffle:

I'll second the request for a PBEM replay or at the very least a detailed report of what happened. Many of us play the AI to learn the basics but want to play other people PBEM for the real fight.
