The Irish Brigade was at Alexandria, Va. March 1st, 1862. The Vermont Brigade was at Camp Griffin Virginia. I haven't been able to figure out exactly where Camp Griffin is but it seems to be very close to Alexandria, Va. The brigade moved to Alexandria on the 10th before leaving for the Peninsula.

One Confederate brigade that I feel should be added as a flavour brigade is the Maryland Line formed in VA in Nov 1863, although authorised in June 1863. The Bde under the command of Bradley Johnson was composed of the 2nd Maryland, 1st Maryland Cav, 1st MD 'Dement's' Art, 2nd MD 'Baltimore Light' and 4th MD 'Chesapeake' Art.

The Maryland Line is almost by definition a 'flavour' brigade as it was formed by a state not in the Confederacy. Remember, Maryland supplied more troops to the Confederacy than did the Confederate state of Florida. Maryland should be represented.

Any chance to include Corcoran's Legion?

The commander is probably better known than the brigade, still ... it's one of the famous named brigades of the Union.

Corcoran's Legion is included in AACW under its other name, the Irish Legion.

I see. Sorry for not looking more closely. I thought Corcoran's Legion was the more familiar name.
