'The Official Military Atlas of the Civil War' by Major General George B Davis, Leslie J Perry and Joseph W Kirkley.
821 maps. 106 engravings, drawings of forts, uniforms, unit flags, the Ordinance Survey of everything south of the Mason-Dixon and east of New Mexico. It also contains ordinance maps of all the campaigns and battles as well as sketch-maps that show what the generals present 'thought' the terrain was.
Available at Barnes & Noble for about $30... an absolute treasure trove and a steal at twice the price.
The index is based on roman numerals and can be confusing, but otherwise this is one of the most valuable books I've ever found.
