Fri Jun 15, 2018 11:44 am

hi, this forum really seems to be empty...

the good games are not being discused, Wars of Napoleon seems to be abandoned...

i was kind of wondering when we are going to hear something new.

is the new engine really a new start
or ageod is slowly whidrawing from front line....

It seems everybody is waiting for news on the new engine, and new engine is probably still being developed

yep. As AGEOD gives us less and less biscuit, less and less people come. And those who come are more and more impatient and not as "happy chappy" as one could hope. At least that's my case. I suppose I should stop coming because I am not really being helpful, I feel like a whiny broken record on how disappointed I was by WON, but deep down all I want is to get enthusiastic and talka about a new game !

Hi gents,

I understand the feeling, but the truth is that we are working full time on the new engine and the new theme associated with it!
I believe we will start announcing real meaty things very soon on it, but marketing wants us to have a lot of materials so we can sustain the heavy fire of questions :)

So definitively, we are silent because busy working, not because we are retiring :niark:

While marketing is keeping things quiet, it seems that interest in all things AGEOD is drifting away. People are moving on, it seems. I find this very sad. But I do hope that interest will revive when news of the new system becomes available.

Regardless, it is good to hear from you, Pocus. I hope you are well and wish you the very best.

Interest will revive if new engine is fitting (and new games are still interesting).

Thank you Vaalen.

Communication is low on our side because we aim for the right timing, with enough content to show. This is how it was decided anyway.

Hopefully Eriss is right...

Seven Years' War would be cool. :) Maybe a bit extending map with new faster engine. Past games were well designed, redoing some of the conflicts with the new engine is good enough for me.

A lot will change with the new engine, and yet ...A lot will be the same. Our small group of internal testers, most being grognards are liking it. Hopefully you too.

Yes, I'm here :-) Just discovering the excellent AGEOD engine with the great AJE !
I also have RUS, TYW, PON, but haven't played them seriously yet. I'm just a newbie
Can't wait for CW2, WON and of course, for the AGEOD Engine 2.0 !
Vive l'Empereur ! :dada: :-)

Such a short note, because I just noticed something of interest:

Strange things happen.

That number seems strange to me considering the number of posts made daily.

Unless there is a horde of Ageod fans waiting for the new game.

I do not find it strange.
More people reed these articles than writes something here.
Likewise more people plays ageod than visit this forum.

I'm still here, and browse the forums from time to time. Sadly, most forums are pretty dead nowadays. Social media has come and scooped up all the folks, I'm afraid. Back in my day, forums WERE social media. :papy:

They still are some. Few journalists search about what they tell, they usually only report the obvious.

The younger you are, the more 'fast paced' you like all activities.

The young like 'battle royales', with blitz matches of 5-15 mn (overwatch and such). The slightly older will prefer a RTS-action game, like company of heroes. And there is us, with turn based

True, but I still like my occasional quick game of Doom. Some things never lose their charm.
