Three new games from Ageod!

Tue Mar 25, 2014 2:02 am

Slitherine has announced, on the Matrix games website, that there will be three new games from Ageod, presumably this year.

The Alea Jacta Est expansion covering the second punic war, and two others, one of which those sadists will not announce until some conference in May.

One of those games is supposed to be announced shortly.

Oh, the agony. Sadistic British Imperialists!

Seriously, I am grateful to Slitherine for supporting Ageod, even if they are sadistic about it.

That's true, but where did you see the news exactly on the Matrix site, because there should be the exact same at the Ageod site.

Care to speculate ? I suspect there will be an Ageod engine WW1. For the other one, I don't know... maybe that RUS Gold we keep hearing about ? But that would be a lot of 14-18...

Yay.

WW1 confirmed by Pocus.

(It's not even an official announcement. Pocus is using Napoleonic indirect tactics here?! Sneeky *requests*...)
This time probably using the AGE engine. Probably based on Altaris' The Guns of August Mod?!

Totally right. This is not yet the official communiqué with screenshots and list of features indeed. This is a tad to early to reveal that, plus we want to keep most of the surprise for the Convention in Italy (in May, players can participate if they want).

Uh, sorry Pocus. Didn't want to sabotage your time table. I just saw your help request thread about the new games naming. In the official forum. No hacking involved.

Besides, don't have to be a fortune teller to guesstimate it to be WW1.

Sorry again. Hope the Slitherix bosses and Phil Thib don't sentence you doing some extra-coding for this ...

Best regards

Edit: And I posted it on the Matrix forum, general discussion thread.
