Big Question: Unification events...

So. One of the things I liked about PoN (and Victoria 2, shhhh) is unification of Germany. CK2 - Form the HRE.

Is there anything like that in the game? Rome? Alexander's Empire? Some other I know nothing about, but still happened in real life?

At least we have a lot of crumbling and nations bullying others. And invasions.
