Diplomatic Boxes

Just curious - has anyone had any luck with diplomatic boxes so far?

As protestants I had one option to influence Denmark in mid-1622. Once it failed, it hasn't come back.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing occasionally a turn event indicating that the diplomatic boxes changed the attitude of the relevant nation towards mine. I sort of just stopped doing the diplomatic boxes after a while, though.

The boxes on the left that have munster, mainz, trier etc. As the imperial play, I got them up to 85 loyalty and they gave me money. Don't know if that recurs tho.

I have had success with the diplomatic boxes, but remember, in the early part of the war everyone was afraid to join. Be persistent in a goal.
