Now that the turn times have been improved significantly, I am having great fun with EAW and because of it really hyped for TYW. It's a great period and I can't wait to get additional information about the game. Besides that, there's the Napoleon era game and not to mention all the other great ageod games I still need to buy. I will be more than busy for years to come!

I just hope there will be a decent AI and that they are working on advancing good old Athena in that regard. The AI currently, like in AJE, sadly is no competent adversary anymore, when you gained some knowledge of the game. That is the biggest point for me concerning a future buy.

Having this game announced at this time is cosmic... I never would have considered a game on the 30 Year's War before, but I'm hooked on the period now and this game will definitely be a "must have" for me!

A bit sad, we are 3 to like to play in pebm, so I guess there will have no scenario with 3 people? Anyway, I am so impatient about this game.

Yes indeed, you can play TYW three player. I am in a game of CW2 with three players. The two northern players simply share making the ord.

Indeed. An interesting situation with the newest engine (EAW, CW2 and the newest games (TWY and WON)) as long as your share the ord and the hist you can easily have 4 players or more. While Altaris solves this issue in a different manner with the Ultimate Mod for EAW, all other games can be played multiplier without special mods.

CW2 is especially nice three player. My plan for pbem with TYW is to play with two or three Protestant factions and two Catholic factions. I may need to adjust this as I learn the game; but it seems:
Protestant - Sweden, German states, France
Catholic - Holy Roman Empire and all other states.

If I understand the question - When? - to mean when will this multiplayer game happen? Probably a month or two after the game is released. This way players will understand some of the mechanics of play: building units, converting the population to a different faith, etc.; and they will have a better sense of events. For many players learning the game will also be learning the history. I suspect most players will wish to have at least a couple of games under their belt before embarking upon such a multiplayer adventure.

If when means when will the game be released, I suggest re-posting with a bit longer question.

Lünebeck should be Lüneburg
Oldenburg is not north of Lübeck
Karlsruhe didn't exist in 1618 (should be Durlach)
Frankfurt is north of the river Main
...
