Hi all,
I'm playing as French, Grand Campaign January 1805. Now I'm in 1811, beginning.
The game has improved a lot, my congratulations to all the team.
Some observations:
-Of course, Spain is still a problem. I've sent there two big armies in 1808 (Portugal conquered in 1807, all was OK now): defeated Spanish and British, Wellington and Beresford not present now in Spain (both dead in battle?), Spanish Partidas no more exist. All Spain is well controlled by me , all regions have a French flag, most of them are totally French controlled. But: 1) Spain is still at war with Britain !!!??? 2) Some Spanish Corps are in Italy and Denmark, because Italy and Denmark have a defensive pact with Spain , at war with me. Note that the Grand Empire exists, I've created it with a big Westphalia, big Poland, annexed Holland and Oldenburg, Tuscany and Papacy. At war with Spain , I still have a commercial agreement with her... I cannot attack Spanish Corps in Denmark or Italy. I think I have to declare war to both my satellites, but it's a bit ... nonsense! Politic options annex Catalonia? I could, but I prefer now to wait some answers. 3) The British, Wellington and Beresford kicked out from the Peninsula, are doing nothing to retake positions there. Because they are still at war with Spain, I think.... Or not?
-The announced British expedition to Walcheren: never occurred.
-What's the option "Napoleonic Genius" ? It's not well explained, the picture is missing.
-Generally, the AI is not very "dangerous". Of course, it has improved a lot, and I've set difficulty level overally low/medium. To have more suspence, I will be compelled to invade Russia...
-Swiss troops: I could recruit Neuchâtel Bns ( in Besançon), but not the three Swiss regiments
I didn't want to be critic, I understand the "machine" is huge and complex, and I have only to congratulate for the improvements. Only to know if solutions to these problems will be solved. According to me, the problem in Spain / Britain / French satellites is still a faction problem.
Sorry for the long message and thank you for your reply
