Start up spash screen - Request

Thu Feb 25, 2016 8:19 am

Can we please position it at 0,0 on monitor 1?
It's really annoying to have it half on monitor 1 and half on monitor 2.

Weird, because the splash screen is set so that it should shows centered on screen 1, and not centered on your desktop. So it should behave correctly. I can't do more on my side sorry.

Your code to calculate the center of screen 1 is def not correct.I assume you are getting the extended displays total area rather than the separate monitor devcaps and current settings to calc the center. I can get the coords of monitor 1 via WinAPI and CreateWindowEx to feed to DX9c with no problem and it shows in the correct position. "Nothing you can do on your side", would suggest there is something I can do on mine. Short of not using dual monitors set to extended display, there isn't. You've got the source code. It's a pretty common setup. Nothing fancy.
