Politics in WON PBEM

Not sure how this is going to be handled. Let's say I offer Hannover to Prussians? Can I do that and how?

Also, what's to prevent and early Prussian attack against France?

In general how are politics handled?

Do you know PON (Pride of Nations), the diplomacy is very similar.

In the diplomatic options what you can do is displayed. So, for example, if you do not have a Declaration of War option, you will find France a forbidden territory as Prussia. You cannot offer Hanover to Prussia, but you can make nice with Hanover. But as Hanover is its own state, you can also deal with her directly.

So go to the diplomatic screen with either shortcut. Select the nation you wish to deal with. Look at how many diplomats you have to know how many diplomatic options you can take. Once you select an option, it most often goes to the nation with whom you wish to have a treaty. Then they accept or decline your approach, real players have to actively do this so always check your diplomacy each turn, AI will also make a decision.

For things like declarations of war and such, you just need to exercise it and next turn the new enemy nation is now opposed to you and you can enter their territory.
