Cool thanks but just to make sure. what does "giving supply" mean : do your troops pump local supply directly, or does it mean that supply can travel to the territory via depot, or do you treat the country giving access to supply like it was yours in terms of supply flow ?

I removed the AddFac and granted France foreign access. It's looking to me like supplies are flowing from France (and Italy).

1) In the north, Nappy and Army are getting supplies. Nappy started before Pressburg at Wien and at 39% supply and within 2 turns went up to 100%. When the weather got worse, the supplies flowing to Nappy went down as I left him on purpose at Wien. It definitely fluctuates based on weather, so yes, a depot in between Ulm and Regensburg would help.

2) In the south, there's a depot at Venice and next one is Trieste, which is 6 regions away. Absolutely no supplies are getting to Army of Italy at Trieste. That's telling me that it's using supplies from France (none from Austria) and yes those supplies are moving through depots as Nappy is getting supplies at Wien.

So, lesson learned. For deep strikes into Austria, build depots along the way or get the troops out before the weather turns bad.

EDIT: Built Supply Depots between Venice and Trieste and between Ulm and Regensburg and that fixed the supply issues into Austria.
