Creating Divisions

Tue Feb 02, 2016 3:59 am

When you create Divisions or Corps you get a message about using resources.

What resources are used when creating a Division or Corp?

On other Ageod games creating divisions used to have a cost. But for my experience on won they are free.
Corps have never had a cost on previous games for what i know...

I did a test and saw no change in GBP/WS totals etc even after running a turn an looking at the totals. If you hold your mouse over the totals it shows the previous turn accounting.

For most computer wargames I just test and run a turn to answer questions as they are getting too complex for the manuals to keep up.

Thanks for the info about the information pop-ups windows when placed over the VP, Money, conscripts, etc icons. I need to learn to put my mouse everywhere.

Your test is making the assumption that everything consumed/spent shows up in those pop-ups. I know that Depots cost 10 money and 5 conscripts. It is collected during the turn. (If you don't have 10 money, they don't get built). I built several depots over several turns. The money nor conscripts showed up for the depots in the Money pop-up or the Conscript Pop-up. I now know not everything gets put in that Pop-up. I am not saying creating Corps/Divisions consume resources, but your test does not prove one way or the other.

Yes, they are complex. It makes it very hard to make valid tests.
