Release date and beta

So, can any of the devs at least give us a ballpark when the game is supposed to be released? Originally, the game is supposed to be released in 2015, but the exact month was not given. I am afraid that the same thing will happen as with TYW where it will be released suddenly without really letting community know that it is about to be released.

Also, I love Paradox and their forum largely due to Developer Diaries. Is there any chance we might see these any time soon? I think they are a great way to interest people, as well as to get feedback while the game is still in development.

Finally, what is the status with beta? In the past few weeks I could not find beta signup, so I am just wondering if it has passed already? I would be very interested to be a part of beta testing, because Napoleonic wars are my second favourite historical period (nothing beats WWI). I tried my luck with TYW beta, but I was not called. Does it help if you have been a part of a couple of betas for different companies that develop strategy games (Paradox, Creative Assembly) or is it decided based on the forum activities (I am a long time lurker, but the forums here tends to be dead, so I never wrote before).
