I was able to cut this bulgarian division in Serbia. Now here is the interesting thing :
- The previous turn, I was not able to attack them, I could not enter the province they are in. Which was a problem, because I could not advance and let them on my rear cutting my supply if they ever retreated in Bulgaria.
- This turn, I can attack them. I guess it is because they are now controlling more than 50% of the province, "transfering" that province from eastern entente (where I cannot enter) to CP (where I can enter).
I understand the idea of preventing totally ahistorical thing like a whole french army coming to the rescue of Petrograd, but in that case it feels odd. The serbian army fought with the western allies in the macedonian front. Here, I can not help them if a battle rages on in a province they still control, but I can enter their country in places they already lost. Feels weird. And I have no idea what will happen if I take this province back : will I be able to keep it ? Will it reverse to EE ? I think Serbia should become authorised territory for WE if they choose to land in Salonika.
That also pose the question of Serbia being EE and not WE. Of course it was their alliance with Russia that started the whole thing, but in game terms Serbia needs more military cooperation with WE than with EE. Russian armies going all the way to Serbia means CP are already dead, while WE armies going to the Balkans with the war still undecided is what happened in the real world.
