Western Entente war plan selection

In the "Great war Full Campaign 1914-1919" scenario, playing as the Western Entente, in the Warplans (F3) ledger screen there is 1/1 warplans to select from. However, the tooltip says "You may choose from one of 4 warplans to determine your initial deployment at the outbreak of hostilities".

If you click the graphic there, then you can choose one of 4 options, but it's confusing... you're only presented with the one choice.

Additionally, you have to click on the tiny pen graphic in the selection screen in order to see a tooltip of select a different plan, which is annoying and confusing. Id suggest making the whole box with "French Warplan: Plan [number]" selectable.

You don't have to click the pen for the plan details. Just hover the cursor over the box.

I just tried this again in order to make sure. Here's what I'm seeing:

mouse over box:

Mouse over pen:
[ATTACH]30253[/ATTACH]

So, yes, you do have to hover over and click on the pen in order to select a plan. I clicked everywhere inside the box just to make sure. Being the detail nut that I am, I even deleted and reinstalled the game to be extra sure, just in case something with the beta install (which I had deleted earlier, but still...) was somehow affecting things. You have to click the pen in order to make a selection.

You do not have to click to see the tool tip. You hover over the pen to see said tool tip. You click if you want to choose the plan.

But anything that makes it easier is fine by me.

why is that when i select a warplan, the stamp for the selection is on eg. 'Moltke Plan' but 'Schlieffen' is still shown on the warplans screen?
do i have to apply the selection somewhere or is the choosen plan in effect?

Pictures in the main warplans screen are just flavor pictures and they dont indicate the actual choice. The stamps just means you have made a choice. That's how the engine works. If you click again on the picture, you can review your choice to make sure it's the correct one.
