Declaration of war against me in the game

is there a message in TEAW,
if an other state declare a war against me?
Or is there somewhere a symbol for this case?

It shows up in the message scroll, like "France welcomes Afghanistan into its alliance!" or something like that.

If there is a DOW against you, it does show up as a declaration of war message. However, if a minor just joins another alliance, it only shows that the nation has joined the alliance as Nelson mentions (it is implied the nations DOW's all members of the opposing alliance in the process).
