Here's the situation. Early September. Brussels is German. Playing Rape of Belgium this turn. Funny things happens at end of August. French Invade Antwerp on same turn that Antwerp surrenders, so it's German but there's 2 Corp of French troops in Antwerp .

Now this is how things end up after Early September. First, the French Corps are allowed to retreat through 200,000 German troops into Louvain. A French Army led by Victor Michel battle with the 4th Army in Dinant, 3 GE Corp railed into Namur and the link at the Louvain. And look where those 3 GE corps ended up after retreating....5 regions away in Koblenz. What is going on here? Is there no real concept as a "Front" or is this really a Civil War game model that looks like a WWI game. In the Civil War, armies were small enough relative to the terrain to be able to slip by opposing armies. No way in WWI. And how on earth did those 3 GE corp retreat ALL the way to Koblenz?

If you didn't have 100% military control in Antwerp and Louvain, there is nothing wrong with French corps retreating. If you immediately counter attacked with superior force in Antwerp, they probably didn't have time to embark back to ships and in order to avoid battle casualties retreated there (maybe AI issued passive stance with evade battle order to help his corps slip away more easily).

3 GE corps retreating 5 regions away doesn't seem right.
