Fri Sep 04, 2015 6:35 am

Is there somewhere I can find what all the acronyms on the counters mean, historically speaking it would add more to the game by knowing if possible, obviously I know some, just Asking...... Thanks

I believe that if you hover over the counter it gives you a name (Reserve Infantry, Field Artillery, etc...). That or if you click on the counter it opens up a detail window with the information there I believe...

Thank you, much appreciated, but was wondering if the unit names were historically correct eg.
In British 5th Div there is 1st LR, POWO, 1st LFR 1/3 Infantry Brigade. Is there somewhere this can be checked? Thanks

OH! I see, I don't think so, the regiments are correct, but, probably not for the 5th Division in 1914. What those name are, are from Pride of Nations, and stand for some regular army regiments (Indeed, I made them, and forgot necessarily exactly which regiments they were). I did this years ago, and there was a neat British Army site with regimental names and organizations (the British are a mess, not following what the rest of the world did!), but has been a long time since I have done those that I do not have a link to the site anymore. It is legitimate, standing for serving regiments in 1914, but, probably not in the 5th Division at the time...
