General and corps

Mon Dec 08, 2014 7:01 pm

Hi,

I have a problem with some generals when I want to form corps: when I select a general, 2 infantry divisions and a gun regiment, I can't form a corps. So I click on the button Enable Corps Command for this leader and I'm able to form the corps. However the general ratings change and become worse than before. For example, the general von Boehn has the following ratings: 3-1-2 but when I do the action described above, they are now at 1-0-1.
I know that ratings can decrease for generals who are promoted to GHQ while they don't have the skills to manage it, but I'm confused when it happens at this level.

Thanks for your help.

It's only for the current turn. Next turn they will be back to normal.

But if you are attacked or attack in the current turn, the effect will still be in. So be careful. It takes some time to learn the timing of the order of commands in the AGEOD games. For example, if you select to destroy the rails and move, it will destroy the rails BEFORE leaving, not in the arriving region. The opposite is not possible anyway as the button would be greyed out.

Moreover, regarding supplies... if you see a unit of yours finishing a turn at low supplies in a region without depot worry cause by next turn it might have attrition casualties. On the other hand, even at 0% in a depot region will mean that by next turn some supplies will replenish for sure.
