Sat Nov 29, 2014 6:32 pm

OK so i have noticed that my large garrisin on the small island of Helgoland is starting to starve ie take a lot of attrition hits for being out of supply. how can i remedy this situation? i can't move them off because they are permanently fixed....

The workaround solution is to move a transport ship into the harbor with them. The transport ship will feed the garrison supplies. However, you will most likely have to rotate the ship back to home waters to re-supply itself, as the CP usually don't have ships in the Atlantic box to move supplies around.

It's not an elegant solution, but it works.

Just a tip, if you keep light cruisers in the Atlantic box on g/g evade that will do dual service of raiding and transporting a small amount of supplies. But quite enough for Heligoland.

Thanks for these good suggestions guys. Will having light cruisers raiding in the atlantic box produce the same negative reaction in the USA as having submarines there?

I "think" off-map boxes ignore orders settings, so g/g or r/r will make no difference. At least this is my understanding from other titles, it may be this old rule has changed in TEAW, if so ignore me lol.

Posture/ROE have no bearing the shipping boxes only. The blockade boxes act like normal sea zones.
