Penetration Values for Artillery

Mon Oct 20, 2014 3:51 am

Where are these specified? I keep reading how artillery's penetration value helps in reducing trench effectiveness, but I don't see penetration listed anywhere in combat stats.

You have to open the .mdl files for the appropriate gun and upgrade.

Mine are in C:\To End All Wars\EAW\GameData\Models

The files you want are 38CMN*.mdl through 56CMN*.mdl

Found them. Thanks. A follow up: how will I know which model ART an element uses? Will the graphic change to indicate an upgrade has taken place and the artillery's penetration value has increased?

You can tooltip unit picture in unit overview window and you'll see which model artillery unit uses. But regardless of the fact you can now get to the penetration values, such stats should be visible in the unit overview within the game interface, if it is possible to change it. This my post belongs more to the help improve TEAW topic :)

Did you manage to find out if the penetration value could be added to the unit card?

It would be great if it you could be able to find it in the game instead of looking at files :)

This will be added alongside Protection.
