Torpedo boats for blockades and disbanding?

Sun Sep 07, 2014 6:17 pm

Hi community,

I was wondering if the torpedo boats actually qualifies to enforce a blockade? As light warships, I guess that they would but, well, I prefer to get a confirmation from seasoned agers.

I was also wondering what's the point to disband a unit, do we get some men or resources back?

It qualifies. For what is worth, I even think transport ships could qualify. The engine simply checks the number of elements afaik.

Thanks for your answer Kensai, the manual states "Each turn, there is a 4% chance per heavy or light warship element (...)", haven't seen transport ships mentioned in that role.

Wasn't sure about torpedo-boats, they do have an use after all.

Transports (and subs) do not qualify for the blockade. Only ships in the $famHvyWarship and $famLitWarhip families qualify, as mentioned in the manual.
