RC9 - CSA lost the Batle of Fort Sumter

Sat Feb 28, 2015 3:01 am

First and only turn processed. CSA lost the Battle of Fort Sumter.

Has that always been able to happen? I've never had it happen before or could it be an issue with RC9?

I've had it happen once. Athena was playing CSA. She took it the next turn though before
I could rush troops down there.

I've had it happen a number of times. It's far from unheard of. Athena will remount her efforts and make another attempt.

Thanks. Never had it happen so wanted to keep all files before moving on.

I will say it will get a whole lot tougher to take as, after the failed battle, a new "Reinforcement" arrived without me doing anything.

Actually that would be a garrison unit. Don't count on it staying put for too long.

If you want to reinforce Fort Sumpter you will have to do it yourself.

There were reinforcements that tried to reach the fort, so it's not unrealistic.
We discussed having the possibility that the fort could hold, just for some
extra flavor for the game, during beta testing.
