Large Naval Battle Activated Field Tactics

I had excess money and war supplies in 64/65 as the CSA and created a large fleet - approx 7000+ in strength. I sent the fleet north to New York City and engaged a USA fleet of nearly the same size. A battle tactics screen popped up and I was able to select a cavalry-based tactic (ended up winning the naval battle). Considering I had no cavalry in the naval battle (or any infantry even), and the fact that the battle was entirely on the water, I assume this was a bug.

I believe they are already aware of the bug.
A 7000+ fleet as the CSA. Wow...

The new 1.02 patch is supposed to eliminate the battle tactics screen for naval battles.

7000+ power FLEET as the C.S.A.!? definite bug.
