Mounted volunteers a support unit in unit panel?

Tue Oct 01, 2013 12:41 pm

Im thinking a bug or something has changed in how units are handled in combat?

Btw, will they train/upgrade to regular cavalry? That is how i understood from the unit panel.

Why are you saying that? Any screenshot or else to make you believe they are "support"...the units are militia types with a high rate of movement (because of mounted, their move coefficient is 150%), but they are still a combat unit

Interesting "bug" indeed. Especially that if you check the USA Mounted Volunteers (which is using exactly the same basic model as the CSA one), the answer is "No" and not yes...

But may be you are not using the latest version or there is a discrepancy in the DB. Will investigate it more in details. Thanks
