CW2 beta patch - December 5th, 2016

Here is a new beta patch bringing ACW2 to latest AGE engine code (1.06.3). It should fixes the replacement bugs, FOR REAL:

If confirmed working, Steam will be updated the following week.

Can someone confirm that this new patch dates the .exe file 12/5/16 and not 12/2/16 and that the launch screen has a date of 12/5/16 and not 12/5/16. I may have done a stupid when trying to install.

Hi Malwart,

no, you did it correctly. The version information you see on the splash screen is taken from the '..\CW2\Settings\System.opt' file from the 'GameVersion' parameter. The variable in that parameter in the 1.06.3 patch is '1.06.3 (December 2nd, 2016)', so that is correct.

the EXE date did not change, as the replacement problem was only about deleting the cached models definitions, so that the default value is properly set.
The loading screen should show a correct, Dec 5th date though.

Nope, it's definitely showing 'December 2nd, 2016'; also in the Credits, but the version number is spot on

I own cw11 and 1 month ago brought bloody road south. I just downloaded the new patch thru game update and it seemed to wioe out the bloody road south senerios. I did this at matrix. So now in trying to reinstall brs. Any ideas

Before trying to figure out exactly what happened, because it shouldn't have, it will be much, much quicker if you do a fresh install; and safer.
