Unit portraits not updating...

Surprised to find that this still hasn't been fixed as | know it was reported months ago: when you 'train up' a unit to the next level e.g. conscript to regular, the unit portrait on the map doesn't change. The unit portrait in the unit panel changes but this is not reflected on the map.

This might be surprising, but this is a difficult issue. Do you have a simple saved game example showing the problem?

Look in Clermount, OH (Cincinnati) for McClellan's stack. He is stacked with 2 Militia units. The 1st Ohio Mil. consists of the 1st Ohio Mil. and the 3rd Ohio Mil. regiments, both of which were just upgraded by McClellan to conscripts. In the same stack is the 2nd Ohio Mil. which consists of only the 2nd Ohio Mil. regiment which has not yet been upgraded by McClellan, just to compare.

The portrait on the 1st Ohio Mil. in the Stack Panel changed from the portrait you still see on the 2nd Ohio Mil., after both regiments were upgraded, but on the map it is still the same as when it was built, which is of course also the same portrait as the 2nd Ohio Mil. has on map.

This is still not fixed, at least this bug is still in the most up-to-date version of "End All Wars" !
