Capturing enemy brigades when all the infantry is destroyed

I just captured the Missouri Brigade as the Union. All the infantry in the brigade appears to have been destroyed, leaving only Wade's Art Bty (a 6 lber). I'm super excited to stick it into a depot and see what sort of units arrive if it and as it rebuilds itself. Hopefully they will be elite southron units.

One reason this happens, by the way, is that Athena doesn't have enough generals to put its regiments into divisions.

That ol' bug again . I thought that was fixed.

IIRC you might be able to partially rebuild it, because the unit says:

ModelType1 = $mdl_CSA_Cav1|1
ModelType2 = $mdl_CSA_Inf9|4
FamilyType0 = $famLeader|1
FamilyType1 = $famElite|4
FamilyType2 = $famCavalry|1


So you might be able to replace the elite and cav elements, but once either of the artillery are gone, they'll never be replaced. On top of that, you can only fill it up up to 6 elements, because that's the sum-total of FamilyTypes in the unit.

I'm thinking that since I can't buy chits of the right type, I shouldn't be able to rebuild it. Just for fun, though, I'll move it to Saint Louis; if it is possible to rebuild it will do it there.

I've had that happen recently, with myself playing CSA and I captured one of the engineering brigades that had an artillery battery. It never rebuilt. I think it might be blocked because of the faction tag of the units. Wasn't the reason that artillery got changed to CMN faction so that any faction could utilize it?
