PBEM Campaign game wont start

My game is on Steam, my friend is via download. Both are patched to 1.06. When he sends me the hst file, we have all the same settings, same folder names etc. However, after I select the game file, select Lincoln, and then PLAY, the game crashes with an error message.

I am attaching the log file and hst file.

Indeed, the file seems corrupted. As this is turn 1 I suggest you restart fresh, then zip the file before sending it to your comrade. Use an external program like winzip, winrar and not the in game zip preferably.
