Major Bug: I can't give McClellan an army!

I have a major problem. I can't give an Army command to McClellan. This is a huge problem, because giving an army command to anyone else is going to cost a mountain of NM. Can't have that!

I wonder if the problem is that he actually earned a battlefield promotion, and I promoted him. He now is a 4* general, and can't command an army

No, tried that. The routine thinks McDowell outranks him. It's as if he is actually a Major General, not a 4*.

Nevermind, I found a workaround. I moved McClellan into the same stack as McDowell, then dismissed McDowell. I then created a new McDowell army to avoid the hit. Problem solved.

I bet I am the first player ever to get McClellan promoted by action, though.....

I got him promoted after defending in Bowling Green once.
