CTD re-organizing stacks

Got this re-organizing stacks in Memphis. Seems to happen most often the first time I reorg a lot of stacks in an region with many stacks.

AMD Phenom II X4 965; 8GB; Radeon HD 5670 cat. 13.9 drivers; win 7 updates current.

couple turns later, same place- clicking around in Memphis, looks to me like the same error...

I tried and tried by shuffling the stacks around, merging and splitting them, and nothing. Might be related to the video then.

Lee comes available, I move him separate, create the Army, move Holmes separate, create a corp under Lee, click on the tab of Lee, crash.

What can I try to continue the game?

Not reproduced, sorry. I separated both leaders from the rest before doing the "promotions"
